LAUREN ADDISON-MULLINS

Author Lauren Addison-Mullins was born and raised on King Island, Tasmania.

The freedom of Island life provided many adventures from which Lauren draws much of her colourful inspiration for her bespoke books.

Lauren and her husband John reside on the edge of the Gold Coast hinterland in Queensland. They are near their daughter Rachael and her family.

They previously farmed together on King Island before moving back to John’s home town Launceston with their teenage children Jeremy and Rachael.

During those years Lauren created her successful ‘Hi Ho Clean & Garden’ business that her son Jeremy and his family now own.

Then followed a stint of semi-retirement in beautiful Yamba on the

New South Wales North Coast where her writing journey began.

I have had the pleasure to work with Lauren for a while now as her graphic designer. I find myself immersed in her books and get a lot of enjoyment from them.

I find a deep sense of peace reading and creating her work. Lauren's outlook on life in general is one of a kind, which comes through in her work. I find that different parts of the books resonate with me on different days, depending on how I feel, which I believe is an indication that truly there is something for everyone in her works.

Lauren’s ability to research facts and put them into stories amaze me. She will not stop ‘till all information is correct and verified. The other, and most important benefit in working with Lauren is that I have gained a lifelong friend in her. She is sincere, generous, and kind in all sense of those words.

I can't wait to see where her work will take her & I feel privileged to be a part of it.
